Group & Private Kayaking

Our Kayak Cool Down adventure is for singles couples or families and friends, to escape the heat and crowds of our popular area and our guests tell us that our kayak excursions are the high point of their visit to the Smokies. It's a time of fun, frolic and splashing, or it can be a calm peaceful paddle among the majestic Blue Herons, Eagles and Ospreys, who's habitats are in and  around the historic points of interest of the lake! The is adventure is truly whatever you want to make of it.  Your experienced guide will escort the guests safely across the lake, with the blue hues of The Great Smoky Mountains in the background. It will definitely be a high point of your visit to the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, East Tennessee area!

Guests will need to wear water sports attire: clothing i.e. swim wear water shoes or flip flops, sunscreen, towel, hat, or scarf, etc.

Participants will meet Guide at designated location in Sevierville and follow Guide To Douglas Lake or Other location.

  Picture yourself, with your loved one(s), kicking back after an invigorating kayak paddle watching the amber sunset across the lake, eventually going ashore to a private island beach setting. The campfire is blazing, and after sunset you’re gazing up at millions of stars, shining brighter than ever before, away from the glare of the city lights. The delicious aroma of hotdogs and S’mores still lingers in the air!

Before you realize it, your private time together by the fire watching the waves, moon and stars, frogs croaking, whippoorwills singing, the distant hoot of Owls, before you know it, time has slipped by. Then, your Guide returns to lead you back safely across the placid lake, in your specially illuminated kayaks, under the dreamlike canopy of a millions of stars to where your adventure began. You’ll leave with the satisfaction of knowing that the time you shared together, was nothing less than a once in a lifetime experience!
